Mentor Protégé Program

Our Commitment

  • Identify new Protégés from “eligible” groups
  • Developmental assistance leading to long term relationship
  • We seek out companies that will benefit from the program
  • Agreements will be for two years and can be extended if mutually agreeable
  • There will be “NO” commitment for purchase orders or subcontracts

Development Assistance

  • Technical and advisory
  • Preparation of briefing and marketing materials
  • Quality assurance plan and implementation
  • Accounting and business development
  • Promote to business partners
  • Site-specific training including access to technical and administrative personnel
  • Estimating assistance
  • Safety program review
  • Joint participation in local and national trade shows

  • Recruited 65 new Protégé’s in 2024

How to Qualify

  • Fit the SBA definition for a Protégé
  • Eligible to receive a government contract
  • Been in business for at least 2 years
  • Able to certify as a small business according to current NAICS code
