Issuance of the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved Revision 0 Appendix C, RCRA/CERCLA Units List for Fiscal Year 2026 (Print Date: 09/29/2025). The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) submitted the appendix on October 1, 2025. The SCDES and EPA approved the Revision 0 appendix in their letters dated January 28, 2026, and January 29, 2026, respectively.

Issuance of the SCDES and EPA approved Revision 0 Appendix E, Long-Term Projections for Fiscal Year 2026 (Print Date: 11/04/2025, updated 06/19/2026), The DOE submitted the appendix on November 13, 2025. The SCDES and EPA approved the Revision 0 appendix in their letters dated December 9, 2025. The appendix was updated to reflect the regulatory approved implementation schedules for the D-Area Groundwater Operable Unit (RDDD-26-117, dated January 15, 2026), Beneficial Use of Select Coal Ash and Coal Fines at the A-Area Ash Pile (788-A), A-Area Coal Pile Runoff Basin (788-3A), F-Area Ash Landfill (288-F), H-Area Ash Basin (288-H), K-Area Ash Basin (188-K), and L-Area Ash Basin (188-L) Operable Units (RDDD-26-142, dated April 30, 2026) and D-Area Ash Basin Wetlands (NBN) in Support of Savannah River and Floodplain Swamp Integrator Operable Unit (RDDD-26-143, dated April 30, 2026). The annual submittal of the A-Area Burning/Rubble Pits (731-A, -1A), A-Area Rubble Pit (731-2A), and Miscellaneous Chemical Basin/Metals Burning Pit (731-4A, -5A) Operable Unit Performance Evaluation Report is no longer required as the soil vapor extraction wells were shut down in January 2026. In addition, the annual submittal of the D-Area Groundwater Operable Unit (NBN) Treatability Study Data Report is no longer required as the groundwater injections will be discontinued since the amount of time required to change the aquifer conditions is taking longer than expected. The submittal of these reports will be discontinued starting in 2027, so they were deleted from Appendix E.
